Yes the script is an almost exact match to the sequence

In some ways and in others no it shows how weak Jerry is and how quick and smart Carl is to always have an answer for what Jerry has to say against Carl which makes him very apologetic

Jerry – Weak, petty, worthless, scared, apologetic, uptight, confined, stutter

Carl – tough, quick, intimidating, serious, relaxed

Grimsgruid – Tough guy, muscle of the two, scary, serious, silent, relaxed


Jerry at first can be taken as a protagonist but later on in the script he goes to an antagonist because he want his wife to be kidnapped. Carl and Grimsgruid are antagonists as they are helping jerry with his plot.

By the way they talk, act, dress and the way they approach jerry in the beginning but jerry in the beginning would be an protagonist until they go in to the script.
